PenguiNet announces Rikki & Vikki for VCS7800 (31.12.2018 - 18:50 Uhr)

2009 saw the release of Zaku, a lavish horizontal shooter for the Lynx that can easily compete with the other Lynx games in terms of graphics. Next to Alpine Games, it is certainly the most visually elaborate homebrew game for Atari's handheld. Fans naturally hoped for the next project by PenguiNet, but this one will not be released for the Lynx, but for the VCS7800. Like Zaku, Rikki & Vikki also took years of development. A special VCS emulator was written especially for this action-puzzle hybrid. Six worlds with 100 puzzles await the protagonists, and two players can play together. The graphics look particularly sharp thanks to the use of the high VCS resolution, and the module has a total size of six megabits (750 KB).

The VCS version is scheduled for release on 14 January, and there is already a Windows version available via Steam that visually corresponds to the VCS game.
