The Classic Computing 2001 will take place on 08 September in Neukirchen-Vluyn. All collectors, clubs and private people with their interesting treasures are invited again. Not only the still large Amiga scene will be represented, but also many active users of 8-bit computers, above all of course the immortal C= 64 and the still beloved Sinclair and Atari XL/XE. But also old professional computers with the MS-DOS predecessor CP/M will certainly be found in abundance again. After someone had already presented a NeXT last year, older workstations from SUN and Silicon Graphics will also be on display this year. But visitors who like to revive memories of times gone by will not miss out either. Unlike last year, this year there will be competitions on classic games. Many computers and old game consoles will be available for this purpose, and a video beamer will be available for appropriate presentation.
As last year, entrance fees and stall fees will cover the costs of DM 5 per visitor or exhibitor. As last year, there will be a party after the event in the same premises. A list of exhibitors, pictures from last year and much more information can be found on the organiser's website. (tr)
